Six months ago, my life was chrome, asphalt, and club business. Now, it’s colic, three a.m. feedings, and trying to figure out how a man with blood on his hands is supposed to raise a daughter. Getting my own place away from the clubhouse was supposed to give us a fresh start, but now I’m drowning. And my brothers' ol' ladies are protective as hell, but they can’t be here every time the baby cries.
Lucky for me, one of the girls next door won't stop offering to babysit. And when I finally take her up on it, it's her older sister who has my attention. I realize I know who she is.
