I know I should make him leave. He's surely capable of fending for himself, but it's the middle of winter, the roads are icy and around these parts that can mean a death sentence. I don't have any other choice but to help this handsome stranger.
My heart has been broken one too many times, and I've refused to let anyone back in.

Blood coats my hands and I don’t regret them being stained. Not when it comes to the reason behind it. Being who I am, I’m as cold-hearted as they come. I only care for those close to me. But even still I keep them at bay. There’s only one who gets under my skin, and she knows it.
To make things worse I’ve moved into her house to ensure her safety.
Now a new situation has risen, and no one knew, not until I was in her office to overhear what was going on.
Finding out there’s something going down at the Hellfire Dancers, I step in to make sure she stays safe. Let’s just hope I can keep from letting things heat up more than they already have.
